OpenOffice.org 2 on Debian testing

OpenOffice 2 is out for some time now, and reputed stable… although we all know .0 versions are often not really that stable actually 😉

It has been packaged for Debian unstable, but if you’re running testing (and maybe also stable), you may use it anyway.

I’ve described how you can do it with the beta release package, and the procedure is the same (only the package’s filename, and the path of the extracted directory OOO680_m3_native_packed-3_fr.8968 have changed) with the stable package from www.openoffice.org.

You may find similar instructions here too.
